Eupatorium mohrii Greene

A common wildflower of flatwoods in nearly all of Florida except for the keys. Ranges through the southeastern coastal states from Texas to Virginia, mostly int eh coastal plain.
A perennial with pubescent stems to 1m (3 ft.) tall, branching only in the upper half. Leaves are sessile or nearly so, the lower leaves opposite and upper alternate. Leaves are 2-4cm (3/4 to 1-1/2 in.) long and 3-10mm (1/8 to 3/8 in.)wide, recurved, the margins may be entire or toothed. The flowers in corymbiform arrays consist of 5 white florets.
