Cuba Landscapes
This page will feature a collection of landscape images made in Cuba during a trip in February 2019.
"Cuba Landscape" features a blue sky filled with clouds over a series of magotes and royal palms. Magotes are isolated hills surrounded by flat plains, usually round and steep-sided made up of limestone or other rock. I think the plant in the right foreground may be a hibiscus. This photograph was made in the Matanzas province of Cuba.
The photographs of the Caunavaco Reservoir (Embalse Caunavaco) were made from a scenic overlook of the Picadura Valley along a small rural road in the Mayabeque Province.
More information about all of Paul Rebmann's Cuba photography can be found on the Cuba 2019 page.
