a. arrowhead shaped, but with the basal lobes turned outward as oppsed to downward

a. halberd-shaped

n. in palmate and costapalmate leaves, the junction of the leaf and petiole

a. soil or habitat that has flooding, ponding or saturation of water for a long enough period of the growing season for the upper levels of soil to become anaerobic (lacking oxygen)
