Common plant of disturbed sites throughout Florida and much of the continental United States.
This species has hairy elliptic to oblanceolate leaves over 1 cm wide, either entire or toothed. The flowering part of the scape will be nearly 3/4 the entire length.


Plantago virginica is a member of the Plantaginaceae - Plantain family.
