Simpson's grass-pink is found in open marls and rocky prairies of the southernmost Florida counties, plus Cuba and the Bahamas. This terrestrial orchid typically blooms from late December to early May in the Everglades National Park and mostly from late April through early June in the Big Cypress National Preserve.
