This glorybower plant was seen in a backyard courtyard at a house near Aquacate, Cuba.
A vine-like shrub, it appears to be of the genus Clerodendrum. There are at least a half dozen Clerodendrum species found in Florida, none of them native to the state. They are often planted as ornamentals.
Glorybowers are member of the mint family - Lamiaceae. Some sources classify some species of Clerodendrum in the genus Ovieda.
