Cuban Brown Snail
Not native to Florida
Native to Cuba, this air-breathing land snail is now found throughout the Caribbean and also in parts of the southeastern United States, especially in the Florida peninsula.
Cuban brown snails have a roundish shell 25-30mm (~1 in.) across with a blunt spire. The shells are typically dark tan with light brownish streaks.
Zachrysia provisoria is a member of the Zachrysiidae - Air-breathing Land Snails family.
