Florida native
A frequent plant of wet flatwoods and pond margins in much of the peninsula plus the central and western panhandle. The range includes the southeastern coastal states from Alabama to North Carolina plus Tennessee. Another disjunct range extends from Maryland and Pennsylvania and all states to the north and east, plus Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. In Canada, it is found in Ontario, Quebac, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
This tiny carnivorous plant may be either terrestrial or aquatic. The pinkish lavender flowers are about 1 cm (0.4 in.) long.
Utricularia resupinata is a member of the Lentibulariaceae - Bladderwort family.
