Found throughout Florida and ranging through much of the eastern United States except New England past Pennsylvania> Found in Ontario.
This is one of the wasp mimics as are many species of this genus.
Acmaeodera pulchella is a member of the Buprestidae - Metallic Wood-boring Beetles family.
