These photos show a member of the foraminatus-group in the Euodynerus genus of potter and mason wasps. There are at least 9 species of Euodynerus in this group.
This wasp was going in and out of a small hole in a fence post in the campground at O'Leno State Park.
Euodynerus sp. is a member of the Vespidae - Yellowjackets, Hornets and some Wasps family.
