These katydids can be found as nymphs and adults year-round in the entire Florida peninsula and into the central panhandle. The range extends into southern Georgia and includes Cuba, the Bahamas and other islands of the Caribbean.
This is the largest katydid in North America with adults growing up to 65mm (2-1/2 in.) long.
Stilpnochlora couloniana is a member of the Tettigoniidae - Katydids family.
