The genus Lasioglossum is one of the largest genera of bees worldwide and is broken down into about a half dozen subgenera. The subgenus Dialictus itself contains at least 33 species.
The bee on the violet-blue flowers above was feeding on lemon bacopa blooms. The bee feeding on the yellow peelbark St. John's-wort flower is a female. The white flower with a bee on the anther is moth mullein.
Lasioglossum Dialictus subgenus is a member of the Halictidae - Sweat Bees family.
