White-m Hairstreak

A small butterfly of hardwood forests throughout much of the Eastern United States.
The upperside of the white-m hairstreak is irridescent blue framed in black. The underside is grayish-brown with a postmedian white line edged in black and forming the namesake 'M' near the tail.
The main host plant is the live oak, along with other oaks. These butterflies feed on a wide variety of nectar plants.
