The Hogna genus of wolf spiders was previously called Lycosa, and several members have recently been moved to the genus Tigrosa.
There are many species of wolf spiders, with Hogna among the largest spiders in North America.
The photos originally posted on this page turned out to be Dolomedes okefinokensis.
Hogna sp is a member of the Lycosidae - Wolf Spiders family.
