Range - Florida peninsula from Clay County to Lake Ockeechobee
Description - Florida false sunflower has showy yellow flowers that appear from May to October at the top of a single stem up to 3 feet tall.
The alternate leaves are linear to lanceolate and less than a quarter inch wide.
