Florida ranks as the fourth highest state in the number of endemics, species that are limited to a particular geographic area. Only California, Hawaii and Texas have more unique species than The Sunshine State. About five years ago I decided to work on a photography project focusing on Florida endemics. Now twenty-one of my photographs of plants and animals unique to Florida are on display through next February in a solo exhibition titled Only in Florida at the Lyonia Gallery in Deltona, FL. Read more about Florida endemics, see some of the photographs and learn about the Only in Florida photo project in the February Paul Rebmann Nature Photography blog - Only in Florida.
