This flowering vine is native to India and is rarely found in just a few scattered Florida counties.
Thunbergia grandiflora is a woody vine with cordate leaves having wingless petioles. The leaves are from 12-20cm (4-3/4 to 8 in.) long. The flaring, trumpet-shaped flowers are 6-8cm (2-1/3 to 3-1/8 in.) wide and are frequently blue with a white throat, but may also be all blue or all white.
