An occasional herb of sandhills in the big bend area of Florida, west to the Ocklockonee River and south into Polk County, mostly absent from the east coast counties. Also ranging into south Georgia.
A perennial with angled hairy stems to 38cm (15 in.) tall. THe opposite leaves are glandular and spatulate with entire revolute margins. The flowers are pale blue to whitish with pubescent, two-lipped corollas and four stamens.
