These fungi are commonly called jelly ear, and also sometimes wood ear. There are numerous similar fungi, however I believe these are probably one of the Auricularia species. For more about jelly ears, go to the Mushroom Expert website.


Auricularia  sp. is a member of the Auriculariaceae - Jelly Fungi family.
