A common moth that can be found throughout much of Florida and the southeastern coastal plain from South Carolina to Texas.
Small frosted waves live up to their name having a wingspan of only 1.1-1.6cm (~1/2 in.). Wings are white with some uneven brownish shading and various blotches.
Scopula lautaria is a member of the Geometridae - Geometrid Moths family.
