A colorful stink bug of Florida and the West Indies.
A distinctive black and red stink bug.
Vulsirea nigrorubra was once considered a subspecies of Vulsirea violacea, but has since been designated a separate species.
The host plant for members of the genus Vulsirea is graytwig - Schoepfia schreberi, which is the plant this pictured stink bug is seen on as photographed in Cuba.
