This false blister beetle can be found on a wide variety of hosts from Maryland to Arizona, but most abundant in Florida, Louisiana and Texas. In Florida, not found south of Sarasota County.
This false blister beetle is 5.3-6.2mm (1/4 in. or a little less) long.
Heliocis repanda is the only species of this genus.
