Florida native
May be found near any water body anywhere in Florida. The range extends throughout the southeastern coastal plain and up the Atlantic Coast into Maryland and Deleware and up to teh central Mississippi Valley.
This slender frog is usually 2.5-6.35cm (1 to 2-1/2 in.) long and bright to dark green but sometimes grayish. They almost always have a distinctive white stripe with thin black borders on the sides. Occasionally will have tiny black-edged gold spots on the back. Underbelly is yellowish. Treefrogs have enlarged, sticky toe-pads.
