The yellow spittlebug nymph & ball of spittle was next to a campsite at Silver River State Park. Found in a disturbed area near sandhill habitat.
The darker insect was seen in the Willamette National Forest of Oregon near Detroit Lake. It is possibly in the Aphrophora genus, which does not occur in Florida, but is found in much of the continental United States and Canada.

unidentified Cercopidae unknown is a member of the Cercopidae - Spittlebugs & Froghoppers family.
